Last month, European Wi-Fi Xooms received the latest version of Honeycomb, and now it's coming to its more mobile 3G-bearing sibling. The update includes a new apps scaling feature so that apps designed for the smaller screen display better on larger devices, along with support for SD card expansion. According to forum posts by a Motorola support representative, the update is rolling out now to Austria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany (both retail and T-Mobile versions), Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK. Samsung delivers Android 3.2 Honeycomb update to Galaxy Tab 10.1

Last week, Samsung released an update to the Galaxy Tab 10.1 that brought along Android 3.2 Honeycomb to the slate. Unfortunately, it also broke a few important functions, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and others on a number of users' tablets. As a result of that, Samsung quickly halted the roll-out of the update to fix the issues. Now, the company claims that it has resolved all of the problems with the upgrade and has started distributing it to users once again. Owners of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 should get a notification on the tablet when the update is ready to be downloaded and installed. It can also be installed from Samsung's Kies desktop app on a PC.

Dell Streak 7 on track to get Honeycomb upgrade

Erik Day, Dell's director of marketing for EMEA, has confirmed that the Dell Streak 7 will be getting an upgrade to Android 3.2 (Honeycomb).
Speaking to Thinq, Day demoed the softare on the 7-inch tablets at IFA 2011, but wasn't able to say when the Honeycomb update would come to existing Wi-Fi only Dell Streak 7s.
The Android 3.2 build of Honeycomb was intended to bring the tablet software to smaller than 10-inch slates, so it makes sense for Dell's 7-inch offering to be in line for the upgrade.

If you have an Acer Iconia Tab A500 or A501 tablet that launched with Android 3.0 Honeycomb onboard an update should be landing soon that will take the tablet to the latest version of Android. Samsung demands 'optional' UI to get Android 3.2 on Tab 10.1

Samsung as part of the kickoff of its TouchWiz rollout for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 revealed that the update wouldn't be optional in practice for real users. Although owners will have the option of declining the custom interface, they won't have the option of upgrading to Android 3.2, Ice Cream Sandwich, or any other patch. The move would leave everyone preferring the original, stock experience locked to 3.1 for the device's remaining lifetime.
TouchWiz had been promised for the tablet from March onwards, but Samsung only clarified that it wouldn't be preloaded relatively close to the launch.

Android 3.2 Honeycomb has just been released and it includes a number of bug fixes and other upgrades to the tablet version of Google’s mobile software platform. Moreover, the release shows better support for multiple screen resolutions, which means manufacturers can just go nuts with their screen sizes, within reason. Android Honeycomb 3.2 gets released

Android 3.2 has been released to the open source community and is also on the way to Motorola Xoom tablets. The big thing about Android 3.2 is the support of 7-inch tablets like the announced tablets from Huawei and the ViewSonic. For existing tablets Android 3.2 offers zoom to fit. That means you can run Android phone apps in full size on your Xoom tablet.
The rollout of Android 3.2 on the Xoom just started. Also relevant for Xoom users, Android 3.2 adds SD card support. Via Phandroid.
