What do you think of the new Apple iPad 3?

So the new iPad has been announced with Retina display (2048x1536, 264ppi), quad-core graphics processor, backside illuminated camera sensor (5 MP on the back of the iPad), 4G LTE speed, and some software enhancements like the temporal noise reduction which will improve the quality of the videos at low light.
So what do you think, is this what you've been waiting for?

Looks sweet, but I don't think I could justify the extra expense over the iP2 for my purposes. I'm going to wait to see what happens with Windows 8 before I decide on a new gen tablet.
