The resolution is quite low, so I assume that the picture won`t be so great

Considering most of the movies come now with 16:9 aspect ratio, I'd be looking for a projector that supports native resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio. Other than that, 1024x768 (4:3) which is D855ST's native res, will be pretty good for presentations for instance. However, If you are looking for pure video experience I wouldn't suggest this exact model.

Resolution might not be the greatest, but when you think about it most video content on the web has lower resolution than that. It may not be a 1080p projector, but if the price is good it will do you just fine. Contrast and brightness levels are average, but as I said it should give a pretty good movie experience.
