Sprint's HTC EVO 3D, as most other carrier-subsidized phones, comes with all sorts of preinstalled applications, which, for the lack of a better word, are universally known as bloatware.
On Android devices you needed root access to get them out of your sight, if you didn't need any of those, which potentially voids the warranty, so a lot of users choose to just live with the unneeded nav apps or game zones the carriers are pushing onto your unsuspecting hardware. That's one of the prices to pay for a carrier subsidy, after all.
