Level 9 I would always count on the nVidia in most o fthe cases their hardware specifications is weaker then the AMD raw power, but the software support is much better thus the performance is better...most of the games are designed for intel&nVidia configurations

Level 6 Go for the GTX 560 Ti 448. Its pretty even fight between the two, I've seen some benchmarks on the net with the regular GTX 560 Ti and its on par with the HD 6950, so the 448 should be faster and also has CUDA.

Level 4 Based solely on my personal views and experience I'd go for nVidia in 10 out of 10 times. This is no exception. I like the way nVidia makes things and the GTX 560 Ti as far as I remember (must've read some reviews) is one hell of a performer. Being similarly priced (about $300) my choice would be the GTX 560 Ti.

Level 1 Simple both are great.
But I would recommend AMD Radeon HD 6950 because I'm using it myself and its awsome
