Most owners of the Motorola DEFY in the UK have probably already received the update to Android 2.2 Froyo that was released a few weeks back, but those who happen to have bought their DEFY through T-Mobile have been left in the lurch. They shouldn't be upset for too much longer, though, as T-Mobile has announced that users can expect the update to roll out at the beginning of July. Android 2.2 Froyo brings a number of improvements, including faster performance and the ability to move apps to the SD card. T-Mobile users will probably be happy to get the latest and greatest from April 2010, but I wouldn't hold my breath for a 2.3 Gingerbread update for the DEFY. »read more
