Why a MacBook, why not Windows....what are the merits I gain as a student in getting a MacBook?

Level 5 If you're not on a tight budget, get the Macbook. It has basically everything a PC have, plus you can install and run Windows flawlessly as on regular PC notebook, which however, can not be done on a PC. The only drawback is the price.

Apple products are famous with great design (software and hardware) and quality, as well as high prices. That said I love the MacBooks. Especially the new 13-inch Air is imo the best notebook for a student -- it's lightweight, ultra-portable and got great battery time.

Oh, and forget about gaming if you get a mac. Actually, If you are a gamer, forget about mac.

Level 7 Take Windows notebook, same sh*t as MacBook for half the money. It don't have the great design, but I think U are not a girl to be so insistent on design :)
