Apple iOS 4 Pro Reviews

Macworld‘s review Edit

While formal benchmarking is tricky on the iPhone, my initial impression of iOS 4 on my iPhone 3GS is that it’s quite snappy—more so than version 3.1.3. The OS as a whole seems more responsive, but there are a couple of places where speed improvements are pronounced: in general, the Camera app running on an iPhone 3GS seems far zippier now than previously. Pictures get taken almost instantaneously, and I didn’t notice any of the sluggishness that has occasionally plagued iPhone 3.0.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

The iOS 4 update is clearly welcomed and it brings with it a selection of new features that iPhone users have been calling out for. However, as we found with the last major iPhone OS update (July 2009), you can't help feeling that all the new features have been on other handsets for months, if not years.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

It's too early to give a definitive verdict on Apple iPhone OS 4. Suffice to say that the new additions are welcome add-ons to an already polished operating system. The lack of Flash support continues to be an issue, but Apple has shown sufficient panache in the past to suggest that this will be a winner.
