Sony PlayStation Move Pro Reviews

Engadget‘s review Edit

"Exactly as with EyeToy in the PS2 days, it's a product that needs to be sampled. You need to get your hands on it. You need to understand it. You need to try it." So says SCE's Senior VP Ray Maguire. And it's true; motion controls are nothing new in the games industry, but PlayStation has really learned from its competitors and delivered a compelling and entertaining experience complemented by the hardware's ability to push HD visuals.

So far, so good. An effective control system, with decent games, at a competitive price. The proof of the pudding will, however, come with the next year's game releases.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

For now, the early read on the Move is that it’s a fantastic piece of equipment that adds an interesting wrinkle to the PS3 experience. Sure, you probably don't need to rush out and get it on initial release, but if Sony plays its cards right, it will eventually become an essential part of the PS3 library. It enjoys comfortable, intuitive controllers, near-perfect tracking with PlayStation Eye and a huge range of motion. The Sony PlayStation Move is also blessed with accurate and responsive internal components.
