What's the best app for web cam video recording?

Hey guys, a friend of mine yesterday asked me If I could help with recording a video on the phone, moving it on the laptop and then emailing it. I guess that will take at least few hours, since I'll have to install phone software and drivers, etc.. What I'm thinking is to record the video straight from the laptop's webcam. The laptop is Dell Inspiron 15 running Win 7 Home edition, I seriously doubt that it has any Dell webcam software installed.

Never used a webcam for anything else than skype, so I'm wondering can you recommend a good app for that (preferrably free)?

I guess movie maker is the best option. I found an app called LiteCam which seems good and might do the job.

Windows Movie Maker which is part of the Live Essentials pack did the trick. Thanks guys!
