Not every idea that comes out of the Googleplex catches on and becomes a massively successful online platform.
For every Gmail there's a Google Knol, and for every Google Earth there's a Google Wave.
And now we've got two more Google platforms to add to the scrapped-services pile; Google Health and Google PowerMeter - both of which have been confirmed as doomed by the Big G itself.
