Huawei preparing its own Emotion UI to sit atop Android

Huawei is trying to make a name for itself in the high-end smartphone market, and the company's just revealed the next phase of that plan. Unfortunately for lovers of pure vanilla Android, the next step appears to be a custom skin called Emotion UI. Details are scarce, but Chinese reporters got ahold of an invitation for a June 9th announce event, and Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong says that the new UI should be available as an upgrade starting in July.
