BenQ announced today the release of their latest home theater projector, the W1060. This model is ideal for multipurpose rooms that can’t be completely dark. The projector features 2000 ANSI lumens, a 5000:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. This is the first home theater projector from BenQ to feature 1080p resolution and retail for under $1000. It doesn’t include the new 3D technology, but it still a fairly impressive device that can create images as large as 300 inches, diagonally.
