Canon Questions & Answers

Is this a good one?

Posted by zac25 on Mar 03, 2011

Hi, I'm willing to spend some time shooting landscapes and night photos, but have no idea what camera to start with. I'm real noob when it comes to dslr cameras so please let me know is this a good one for a beginner? Or should i look for Nikon's entry-level cameras?

All Rebels are good, I've never had a problem with Canon's DSLRs and the image quality is outstanding.

If you are a beginner any camera will do the work. If you ask me buy something cheap and learn to shoot and then choose your camera ;)

Totally agree on that one :)

Olympus has a good range of entry level DSLRs which are quite cheap, but still take great photos. I'd suggest you start with something cheap till you get the hang of it and after a while if you are still into photography to upgrade the camera.
