LightSquared has announced a new round of funding for its upcoming 4G LTE network that totals $265 million. According to the announcement, the funds came from both existing investors and new investors to the company. LightSquared has raised $2.3 billion in funding over the last year. Apparently the company's ongoing battle with the GPS industry has not scared investors away, and LightSquared's promised fixes for any interference issues seem to be enough for investment firms to continue to put money into the company. »read more
