Razer and MadCatz are well known in producing gaming peripherals. You might want to check their products here - http://goo.gl/eY8Fv

+1 for Madcatz, especially Cyborg R.A.T.s'..they are like little detachable robots :) you can change everything.

Get the one that fits the best, from the Razers the trusty old Deathadder is one of the most comfortable mice I've played with and it has 3500 dpi infrared sensor, the Logitech G9 is my current mouse and i absolutely love it (3200dpi), the newer G9x is the same, but with 5700 dpi sensor. And my last suggestion is the Steelseries Ikari Laser. The madcatz Cyborg R.A.T seems good as well, but it will take you some time to get its shape adjusted to your needs.

I agree for the Madcatz R.A.T., you`ll need some time to adjust it, but it is 100% worth it

Logitech has made some good gaming hardware over the years and IMO the should still be taken in consideration. I've had the chance to play around a bit with the G500 and it fits my hand perfectly and yeah.... 5700 dpi! The G700 is similar in design and is also wireless.

Just get the Ikari Laser, one of the most comfortable gaming mice on the market.
It may be just 3200 dpi, but the comfort level is amazing.

You should consider the Razer Deathadder, it fits nicely in the hand and sports a 3500 sensor.

Razer makes some really good products. Basically you can go to any of the major brands and see which mouse is the most comfortable for you.
Steelseries and logitech are also a magnificent choice.
